Mid-Autumn Festival is just around the corner. It’s a time for family reunions in limited groups, heart-warming conversations and mooncakes! This year, like every other year, people are waiting eagerly to get hold on their favourite seasonal delicacy and explore the new handcrafted varieties.

Mid-Autumn Treasures by Cherry Garden. Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with Cherry Garden’s collection of beautifully crafted traditional baked favourites and snow-skin mooncakes. Ideal for gifting, these delicacies are housed in an elegant box adorned with oriental floral motifs and features a medley of signature flavours and unique creations.
Perennial favourites include the Low Sugar Silver Lotus Paste with Double or Single Yolk, a perfect choice for a healthier indulgence, or its coveted snow-skin flavour, the Lychee Martini and Chocolate Truffle mooncake. Taking centre stage in this year’s debut will be the Oolong tea-inspired creations, namely the traditional baked Lugu Oolong Tea with melon seeds and the snow-skin Oolong Tea Infusion with dried apricot and pumpkin seeds.

To celebrate this time-honoured tradition, the legendary Raffles Hotel brings an exquisite array of classic and contemporary mooncakes this year. Drawing inspiration from the lush greenery and natural shades of white of the restored Raffles Hotel, the timeless Raffles Mooncakes are beautifully presented in a creamy ivory box designed with gold lotus flowers and palm leaves – a tribute to the time-honoured traditions of Mid-Autumn festival.
The new handcrafted creations include Apricot and Sourplum snow-skin mooncake and Yuzu and Osmanthus Truffle snow-skin mooncake. Apricot and Sourplum snow-skin mooncake is inspired by Master Chef Jereme Leung’s signature creation at 藝 yì while Yuzu and Osmanthus Truffle snow-skin mooncake is an ode to Yuzu, the most exquisite member of the citrus family.
Signature favourites include Champagne Truffle Snow-skin mooncake, Earl Grey Tea and Pearl Snow-skin mooncakes. And those looking for a perfect gift for families and friends, Classic Baked mooncakes are back as an all-time favourite.
Raffles Mooncakes are now available for orders at their website. It is also giving out Early Bird privilege discounts ranging from 20% to 30% with select credit card partners. From 10 August to 1 October, the Raffles Mooncake Booth will be available daily from 9 am to 8 pm at the North Bridge Road Atrium of Raffles Arcade.

Mid-Autumn Delights at Hai Tien Lo. This year Hai Tien Lo presents an exquisite medley of eleven handcrafted baked and snow-skin mooncakes to please all tastes.
Diners can select from five snow-skin mooncake flavours including three vibrant new varieties making a debut this year. Green tea fans will adore the new Matcha Black Sesame snow skin, which combines aromatic Matcha powder and white chocolate with rich nutty black sesame paste. For a fruity summer treat, the Soursop Lychee snow skin, refreshingly made with soursop puree, lychee puree and fresh soursop bits, will certainly delight. The third new interpretation is a tart Raspberry Chocolate Snow-skin with crunchy raspberry pearls and delicious ruby chocolate.
Hai Tien Lo’s best-selling Mao Shan Wang Durian Snow-skin and decadent Hazelnut Yuzu also make a comeback this year on popular demand. For a lovely treat with minimal guilt, health-conscious diners preferring low-sugar alternatives will appreciate the delicious White Lotus Seed Paste with Macadamia Nuts and Jade Paste with Melon Seeds.
Also paying homage to the timeless tradition with a classic oriental design, all mooncakes are presented in a majestic satin-covered crimson box adorned with intricate florals and a wooden lattice centrepiece.
Pan Pacific Mooncakes are now available for pre-order collection between 1 August to 1 October 2020 at Pan Pacific Singapore. It is also giving out Early Bird Privileges and discounts ranging from 15% to 25%.

Newly debut flavours include a tropical twist to tradition of Baked Single Yolk Lychee Lotus Paste and luxurious indulgence of Bird’s Nest with Japanese Sweet Potato Mini Snow skin.
Featuring a play on fruity and aromatic aftertaste in its baked selections, the signature Baked Single Yolk Lychee Lotus Paste takes centre stage this year while Bird’s Nest with Japanese Sweet Potato Mini Snow-skin is lovely to behold in a marbled turquoise snow skin.
