Atlantis The Royal, the highly anticipated ultra-luxury hotel in Dubai, is finally open for business. After eight years of planning and design, this seven-star luxury hotel is poised to be the next big thing for the world’s VIPs and high rollers. The hotel’s gleaming white marble with silver and gold veining sweeps through the public spaces, giving visitors a taste of the opulence that awaits them.

The hotel, designed by architects Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, is a stacked-block building with a pink façade that stands 43 stories high. The 500 m-long structure’s six towers connect via a nearly 300-foot sky bridge, making it a striking addition to the Palm Island skyline. The hotel held a soft opening on January 21st and will officially open to the public on February 10th.

The highly anticipated opening of the Atlantis The Royal was marked by a star-studded concert event on January 21st. The concert featured performances by Beyoncé, electronic house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia, all-female orchestra Firdaus and the Lebanese dance troupe Mayyas. The event was attended by over a thousand VIPs, celebrities, and high rollers from around the world including Jay-Z, Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, Mahira Abdelaziz, Liam Payne and Letitia Wright.

Guests were treated to a lavish opening ceremony, complete with a pink carpet, champagne reception, and a firework display. The concert itself was a spectacular showcase of the hotel’s state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, with Beyoncé putting on an unforgettable show for Dubai’s celebrities.

Guests staying at Atlantis The Royal will have a wide range of room options to choose from, with a total of 795 rooms and suites available. Forty-four of these rooms boast their own infinity pools, providing guests a truly unique experience. The rooms all feature floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto spacious balconies, offering views of the Arabian Sea, the Dubai skyline, or the Palm’s fronds. The hotel’s amenities are top-notch, with luxury brands like Graff and Hermès, indulgently soft Frette bathrobes, standalone tubs and gold-plated toothbrushes and shavers available for guests to use.

When it comes to dining, Atlantis The Royal truly delivers. The hotel features a strong roster of 17 restaurants and bars, each offering a unique culinary experience. Celebrity chefs rule this culinary playground, with José Andrés at Jaleo, Costas Spiliadis Greek cuisine at Estiatorio Milos, Iranian-American Ariana Bundy crafting flavorful, modern Persian fare at Ariana’s Kitchen, Gastón Acurio with a branch of his Asian-Peruvian La Mar and Dinner by the pioneering Heston Blumenthal.
