After six months of renovation works, Thailand’s renowned wellness retreat Chiva Som has reopened its doors to wellness seekers from around the world, boasting freshly updated facilities and an all-new specialist golf retreat to cater to putters of all levels. The destination spa also introduced a new room type : the Thai Pavilion Suite comes with its own outdoor pavilion, allowing guests to host private meals or to meditate amidst the resort’s lush gardens.
Its common areas have also been redesigned into more open and airer spaces, giving the resort a contemporary new look while ensuring that it stays true to its roots as a tranquil wellness retreat. Additionally, the resort’s lounge, spa, and dining establishment, Emerald Room, have been remodelled.
To celebrate the restaurant’s reopening, renowned chef Keisuke Matsushima served up his renowned French-Japanese fusion food – with a wellness twist – at the Emerald Room.
Whether you’re headed to the acclaimed resort looking to seek out your inner calm, or simply to get away for a weekend, you’re sure to find an oasis of relaxation in ChivaSom ◼
